Who We Are
We believe in the one eternal, invisible God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father and Creator, through his Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, living, eternally reliable Word of God equally in all parts and without error in its original manuscript. It is absolutely infallible, and our source of supreme revelation from God, superior to conscience and reason, though not contrary to reason. It is also therefore our unfailing rule of faith and practice and necessary to our daily lives (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin. That he lived a sinless life, was crucified on Calvary for our sins, and bodily rose from the grave; and that he has been exalted to the throne of God where He is the only mediator between God and man. We believe that through his death and life we have personal salvation, bodily healing and redemption, and power for victorious living (John. 1:1-2 & 14; I…
We believe that “it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is by grace through faith that each believer finds resurrection from a life of despondency to a life of hope. Because all men have sinned and need redemption, faith in the shed blood of Christ gives the believer life everlasting. Those repenting of sin and being…
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, His present ministry, His indwelling, His empowering, His impartation of gifts for today, and His transforming power in the lives of all believers (I Cor. 12:4-11, Gal 5:22-23).
We believe the church has been “called out” of the world to be a habitation of God through the Spirit. As the body of Christ on earth, the church offers hope to mankind. The church is one body made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:12-27).
