We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, His present ministry, His indwelling, His empowering, His impartation of gifts for today, and His transforming power in the lives of all believers (I Cor. 12:4-11, Gal 5:22-23).
We believe the church has been “called out” of the world to be a habitation of God through the Spirit. As the body of Christ on earth, the church offers hope to mankind. The church is one body made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:12-27).
Senior Pastors Pastor Chris and Lisa are the Senior, & also founding, pastors of Grace Summit. They have been married for 27 years & have been leaders in ministry together longer. Pastor Chris is a gifted speaker & teacher. Since being called to ministry at 12 years old, he is convicted to speak the truth as plainly as possible & also speak life. He has a reputation to use humor in his teachings & drink an exceptional amount of coffee! God…
Associate Pastor Chris has known & served with Pastor Chris & Lisa since before Grace Summit was born. He oversees the Finance, Development, & Facilities departments of our church. He is the wheels that keep the church running & operating at top notch, & also manages to keep Pastor Chris out of trouble! His awesome wife Cindy, & daughter Brittany, also serve actively in the church. His wonderful grandchildren are members of our ImpactKidz.
Worship Leader Molly has been leading worship for Grace Summit since 2013. She oversees our Web Development, Social Media, and constructs our weekly services. She currently attends Georgia State University on her way to completing her Bachelor Degree in Marketing & Real Estate. She serves as the Summit Youth Leader & has a passion to see spiritual growth within our community’s youth & children.
Middle School Leader Sarah Beth Vaughn oversees our Middle School children from grades 6th through 8th! She has always been involved in ministry with her Mother and Father, and is a Senior at the University of Georgia studying English Education. When she isn’t studying, organizing, or helping out in every way that she can to make Grace Summit Church happen, she is often working hard to liberate shoes and handbags from retail outlets everywhere.
Peace! It was a statement of one generation, and the longing desire for all of humanity. People scream for ‘world peace’, or ‘economic peace’, and even ‘community peace’.
