Where Do You Dwell?

Where Do You Dwell? Psalms 91:9-10 “Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—the Most High, who is my refuge— no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.” Where do you dwell? Where does your heart live? Everyone lives somewhere, but I’m not talking about houses, apartments, or condos but even then those places do bring up the ideas of safety, and where we want to run to when evil comes. We want to go…

The Peace Of His Protection

The Peace Of His Protection Psalms 91:1-6 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. 3  For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. 4  He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. 5  You will not fear the terror…

God

We believe in the one eternal, invisible God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father and Creator, through his Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin. That he lived a sinless life, was crucified on Calvary for our sins, and bodily rose from the grave; and that he has been exalted to the throne of God where He is the only mediator between God and man. We believe that through his death and life we have personal salvation, bodily healing and redemption, and power for victorious living (John. 1:1-2 & 14; I…

Salvation

We believe that “it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is by grace through faith that each believer finds resurrection from a life of despondency to a life of hope. Because all men have sinned and need redemption, faith in the shed blood of Christ gives the believer life everlasting. Those repenting of sin and being…
